Kealba Kindergarten open day and market is from 11.30am-3.30pm this Sunday at 24 McShane Drive, Kealba. Includes a free barbecue, petting zoo, craft activities and face painting. Free entry; all welcome.

Carols are at St Bernadette’s Community Centre on December 14, with choirs and singers from diverse backgrounds, an appearance by Santa, free face-painting, a jumping castle, sausage sizzle and laser show. Cooke Avenue, Sunshine North. Gates open at 5pm.

Brimbank council hosts a business breakfast from 7am on December 13. A corporate identity will provide tips on kick-starting innovation. Overnewton Road, Keilor. Cost: $25.
