Works are stepping up in Sunshine as part of the Regional Rail Link project.
Heavy machinery is being used as part of site investigations at the Anderson Road level crossings, with lane closures and other traffic changes in place.
Ongoing works at Sunshine station and in the rail corridor may be scheduled at night to avoid disrupting train services.
Demolition of the old parcels office next to the Sunshine station is to begin later this month.
