THE Western Jets are licking their wounds after a 112-point thrashing at the hands of Calder Cannons at Highgate Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
The Jets watched on helplessly as the Cannons did as they pleased, piling on 21 goals to five in the final three quarters.
The shining lights for the Jets were Sam Critchley and Nick Jones, while Lachie Hunter booted three of his side’s six goals.
The Jets face a challenging excursion to Shepley Oval on Saturday morning for a game against the Dandenong Stingrays.
