VICTIMS of dodgy doorknockers have been given a helping hand at a ‘Bring Your Bills’ day at UnitingCare Sunshine Mission.
Lawyers and financial counsellors, including Andrea Hill (pictured), helped dozens of residents who had been targeted by utility retailers and sent bills they didn’t understand.
The legal centre has worked with Brimbank Council in handing out ‘Do Not Knock’ stickers to help protect residents against unscrupulous practices.
