COPPERFIELD College fashion students like Olga, Victoria, Melike and Lisa (pictured) will put their talents to the test as part of the Norwood Association’s Pobblebonk Festival.
The May 27 fair will reveal the results of creating fabulous outfits for everyday wear or formal occasions using recycled clothes and accessories.
Students will team with the Brotherhood of St Laurence to showcase their transformation of clothing from opportunity shops.
Norwood Association and Brimbank Central Rotary Club will host the fair at More Park in Ardeer.
The event, named for a native frog, is supported by Brimbank Council and the Jack Brockhoff Foundation.
Festival ambassador and Olympic hurdler Kyle Vander Kuyp will meet spectators and share his experience of living with depression.
Six local soccer clubs will take part in a round-robin tournament, competing for $1000 prizemoney.
There will be mental health forums and entertainment by a Bosnian folk dance troupe and local hip-hop crew Rap 3021.
