ST Albans Secondary College year 10 student Demi Tran has been lending a hand to Dr Bill Hadzakis (pictured) at Family Dental Care in St Albans as part of a 10-day work experience program.
Ms Tran says she’s always wanted to be a dentist.
“I have learnt so much in the eight days I’ve been here,” she says.
“I’ve been allowed to sit in on certain procedures and really get a feel for what the industry is about. Now I can’t wait to finish school and start a course.”
The 16-year-old was thrilled to be offered a casual job at the clinic after she finishes her placement.
More than 180 St Albans Secondary College students are involved in this year’s work experience program.
