Man shot in home invasion

A MAN was shot in the leg during an aggravated burglary in Deer Park about 12.45am last Thursday.

Police were called to a house in Bayliss Road where they found the injured man, 29.

Police said two men armed with firearms forced entry to the house and confronted the three people inside.

One of the men demanded money, which was handed over, and then shot the victim in the right leg.

The attackers were described as in their 20s, 180 centimetres and wearing dark pants and hoodies.

The men are believed not to be known to the victim.
