Weapons amnesty triggers response in Brimbank

WEAPONS including a WWI bayonet and six firearms have been handed into Brimbank police as part of an annual amnesty. 

Brimbank’s Acting Inspector Chris Gilbert said the amnesty was designed to enable residents to surrender unregistered firearms and weapons without prosecution. 

The amnesty ends on November 30. More details: 9313 3333.
