Firemen’s friend at Kings Park

THOUGHTFUL Kings Park Primary School pupil Te (pictured) had a special visit from Brimbank MFB officer John Cappellano last week.

The prep pupil, 6, was presented with a firefighter Energiser bunny and certificate after encouraging his family to install smoke detectors in their home. It came after a fire safety seminar at his school.

Teacher Jodie Parsons said Te went home from school and told his mum the risks of not having a working alarm. “He’s a very attentive pupil and was excited about the special visit to the school,” she says.

Te hopes to be a fireman when he grows up.
