Four charged over St Albans robberies

FOUR men have been charged over a series of thefts and robberies in the St Albans area early this year.

Police executed two warrants on Friday as part of Operation Troiluses, which investigated a string of crimes between January 4 and 8, including an armed robbery of a convenience store and a robbery from a taxi driver.

St Albans men Temesgen Gebreyonas, 25; Mustafa Muhumed, 26; Akol Maker, 19; and 21 year-old Chol Adub, from Tarneit have all been charged with armed robbery and other related offences.

The men were all remanded in custody at an out-of-session court hearing on Friday. All four face court again on Monday.
