Re: St Albans crossing cash ‘sent to marginal seats’ (Weekly, May 14):
Bernie Finn and Andrew Elsbury aren’t doing their jobs. How many times has Mr Finn defended “planning” for the St Albans grade separation as being something positive. Action is what’s needed and he should be making sure it is done this year. Who from the community will run against these clowns for spots in the Legislative Council?

Re: Wrath urged for illegal parkers across Brimbank (Weekly, May 14):
Couldn’t agree more. Visit Keilor Downs shopping centre any time of the day and you’ll see anything from utes to two-seater convertibles parked in the ‘‘mothers with a pram’’ area. These morons seem to think just because the spots are empty they are entitled to park in them.

Re: Brimbank a heart attack hot spot (Weekly, May 14):
It’s quite simple. Poor people buy cheap food. Cheap food is bad food. Bad food leads to bad health. The only solution I can think of is tax subsidies for the vegetable and fruit farmers.
