Playgroup: Brimbank Church of Christ has a new playgroup program for newborns to preschoolers. It’s called Mainly Music and is  10.30am every Monday at 59 Milleara Road, Keilor East. Details: 0412 382 199.

Feast day: The Maltese Community Council of Victoria and Rosary Home for the Aged invites the public to celebrate the feast of St Peter and St Paul from 9.30am this Thursday at 138 Odessa Avenue, Keilor Downs. Details: 9387 8922.

History meeting: Keilor Historical Society’s  next monthly meeting is from 7pm tomorrow in the upstairs community meeting room at Brimbank council’s offices on Old Calder Highway, Keilor. New members and visitors welcome. Details: 9953 9469.

Our neighbourhood: Australia Post is offering a grants program, with eligible charities and community organisations invited to apply for grants of between $1000 and $25,000 to support local projects.
