Pipe bomb stops Sydenham traffic

A SECTION of Sydenham Road in Sydenham was cordoned off by the bomb response unit after a home-made pipe bomb was found about midday on July 14. 

A controlled detonation eventually made the device safe. The arson and explosives squad is investigating.
