85-year-old Sunshine West woman has car impounded

An 85-year-old woman from Sunshine West had her car impounded after being caught driving while on a suspended license.

She was pulled over by Brimbank Highway Patrol members in Sunshine about 8pm on Saturday. 

Police had received several complaints from members of the public regarding the woman who continued to drive after her licence had been suspended. 

Police waited until she drove from the car park of a Durham Road hotel where they pulled her over. 

She was charged with driving while suspended and had her Daewoo impounded for 30 days.
