Deer Park’s Benjamin Trillado is proof that Brimbank’s got talent. The singer, 14, took out the youth competition Brimbank Stars during last month’s MaDE in Brimbank music and dance festival. Benjamin won with an original composition. “I’ve been writing songs since I was about 12 and playing guitar since I was about 11,” he says. “There’s nothing like the adrenalin that rushes through me as I walk on stage and begin to play and sing.
