A series of free knitting and crochet workshops will lead to the ‘yarn bombing’ of Delahey Community Centre. Each workshop will begin with a storytelling session led by a Wurundjeri elder. Classes are from 12.30pm every Monday until July 7. All materials supplied.

Brimbank writers’ awards
More than $3500 in prizes is up for grabs for writers who live, work or study in Brimbank. Categories include best adult short story, teenage short story, children’s open, and songwriting. Entries close at 5pm on Friday, July 11.

A gentle exercise class and beginners’ Spanish lessons will be held at Brimbank U3A in term two. Enjoy the physical benefits of gentle exercise, Zumba, boxing and more.
