St Albans Leisure Centre pool to close for six weeks

Indoor pool facilities at St Albans Leisure Centre will be closed for about six weeks from Monday to carry out essential maintenance works to the indoor pool hall roof.

The roof is in need of repair, and while works are completed there will be no access to the pool deck, including toddler pool, spa and sauna.

The gymnasium, group fitness room, crèche and change rooms will not be affected by the works and will remain open for business.

Swimming lessons are expected to start as normal in term three following the completion of repairs.

While the pool is closed, community members wishing to have a swim can access the pool facilities at Sunshine Leisure Centre.
