Big hair, big smiles, sequins, heels and spray tans were the order of the day at the Miss Universe Australia Victorian Final at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins on Tuesday, May 13.
Twenty-three stunning young women took part in the pageant, all hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous Miss Universe Australia titleholders Jennifer Hawkins, Rachael Finch, Jesinta Campbell, Laura Dundovic, Scherri-Lee Biggs, Renae Ayris and Olivia Wells.
A judging panel that included Nadia Bartel, Joey Scandizzo, Charlie Brown and Anna Byrne, cast a careful eye over the contestants as they took part in the swimsuit, evening gown, and question-and-answer sections of the event.
Seven ladies were selected to represent Victoria at the Miss Universe national final: Alysha Mazzon, Alex Hecker, Nicola Williams, Letitia Sindt, Kiani Trisna, Anna McEvoy and Jessica Parish.
The national final will be held at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins on Friday, June 6, 2014.
