IT’S STORYTIME

Brimbank libraries will host events to celebrate Library and Information Week (May 19-25). Children can join thousands of kids across Australia for a reading of the picture book Too Many Elephants In This House as part of National Simultaneous Storytime. At Deer Park, Keilor Village and Sunshine libraries from 11am on Wednesday, May 21. A special craft activity will follow the reading.

BIGGEST MORNING TEA

Deer Park library will host a morning tea from 11am to noon on Thursday, May 22. Entry by gold coin donation. Enjoy a cuppa and nibbles, and test your book knowledge with ‘‘book bingo’’. Prizes include gift vouchers.

DELAHEY OPEN DAY

Delahey Community Centre will host a free open day and quilt exhibition to mark Neighbourhood House Week. There will be Chinese watercolour painting workshops, musical entertainment, a sausage sizzle and morning tea with scones. From 10am-4pm this Saturday. 80 Copperfield Drive, Delahey.

FUTURE FOCUS

Have your say on the future use of Brimbank council’s Keilor office building at the Keilor Village shops from noon to 5.30pm tomorrow. A workshop will also be held at Keilor Park Hall from 6-8pm on May 20.
