Sunbury/Cranbourne/Pakenham
Current: Sunbury and Cranbourne/Pakenham are separate lines. Both travel through the City Loop.

Werribee/Williamstown
Current: This line only stops at Southern Cross and Flinders Street stations on the city loop and is connected to the Frankston line.

Lilydale/Belgrave
Current: Travels on the same Loop tunnel as the Glen Waverley line and stops at all City Loop stations. It includes Alamein line services.

It will be linked to Frankston via the Melbourne Rail Link, the Napthine government’s new underground tunnel. This line will include new underground stations at Fishermans Bend (Montague) and Domain. There will also be new underground platforms at Southern Cross and South Yarra. Passengers on this line wanting to get to Flinders Street Station will need to interchange at Southern Cross or Richmond. Alamein services will remain on this line.
