Collingwood premiership captain Tony Shaw spoke at a session of Brimbank council’s Men’s Health Day at the Westvale Community Centre in St Albans last Wednesday.
Shaw shared his philosophies on keeping fit. “I was one of six kids in a housing commission flat in Reservoir, and mum and dad never drove,” he said.
“We pretty much walked or ran everywhere.”
Local men enjoyed health and wellbeing presentations, health and hearing checks, a fitness session, cooking demonstrations and massages.
