It’s not every day you get to meet the stars of your favourite show.
For 14-year-old Codie Dimech, that dream became a reality recently when she and her sister Chelsea got to rub shoulders with the cast of Neighbours as part of her Make A Wish wish.
The Ardeer resident, who has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and a life-threatening spinal deformity, is a Neighbours fan and jumped at the chance to visit the set in Nunawading.
Her favourite actress, Saskia Hampele, who plays Georgia Brooks, was Codie’s tour guide To top it off, Codie got to make her screen debut as an extra.
Make a Wish Australia grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and has granted more than 7000 wishes since launching in 1985.
