Six Calder Cannons and six Western Jets have been selected to take part in the AFL draft combine to be held in October.
A total of 96 players from across Australia have been invited to the combine, which involves four days of testing in front of AFL clubs.
The Cannons – Paul Ahern, Damien Cavka, Matthew Goodyear, Touk Miller and Peter Wright who also represented Vic Metro this season – have been invited.
They will be joined by injured star Jake Lever, who is expected to be a top-10 draft pick.
The Jets’ contingent is led by Ben Mitchell Medal winner Liam Duggan. He will be joined by Corey Ellis, Jayden Laverde, Connor Menadue, Brenton Payne and Dillon Viojo-Rainbow.
The Northern Knights have had three players selected. They are Jason Castagna, Kyle Langford and Reece McKenzie.
