Commonwealth Games: Lauryn Mark shot out in semi-finals

Hoppers Crossing’s Lauryn Mark missed the final of the women’s skeet event at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Mark came sixth in the semi-final at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre.

Former Melton shooter Daniel Repacholi won gold in the 10 air pistol event.

Fellow Australian Laura Coles won the gold medal.

Essendon Hockey Club’s Georgia Nanscawen scored in the 53rd minute of the Hockeyroos 9-0 win over Wales.

Australia beat Malaysia 4-0 in their first match, and face Scotland at Glasgow National Hockey Centre on Sunday at 6pm (Melbourne time).
