Emmaus Primary School girls brush up on drawing skills

Sophia Castrodes, Zoe Abeyewickreme, Brooklyn Leahy and Amelia Cini know the importance of good oral hygiene.

But it was their drawing ability rather than brushing and flossing twice daily that won them a spot among 12 regional finalists in the Colgate Bright Smile Global Poster competition.

The four girls are in grade 4 at Emmaus Primary School and their artwork was selected from more than 700 entries to represent Australia and New Zealand.

It will be sent to New York to compete with other finalists from around the world. The winning entries will feature in Colgate’s My Bright Smile Calendar.
