Get rid of the glass

Why are they being replaced with glass? Clearly there must be a better option.
What is being done to catch the vandals?
This is ridiculous. If you can’t catch the vandals, stop giving them glass to smash.
Pedestrians are forced to walk on the road to avoid the glass and with the speeding cars flying down Copperfield Drive (Delahey) this is a recipe for disaster.

Education needs more planning

The circumstances of the original closures differ from site to site.
Kealba, for example, was beyond saving, but the fact remains that the need for educational infrastructure in the area is only growing more urgent.
It’s time the state government started planning for the future needs of residents instead of short-term cost-cutting.

Re-think please, Mr Andrews
So embarrassed was the previous Labor government, it actually dismissed Brimbank council – anything to cover up disgraceful behaviour by ALP factional warlords and their puppets in the lead-up to an election.
Presumably, current Opposition Leader Andrew Daniels, then a senior cabinet minister, was also disgusted by what he saw in Brimbank.
Presumably, Mr Andrews – Dictaphone Dan – was equally ashamed of what members of his party did to the people of Brimbank.
If that was the situation less than five years ago, I must ask the question: What has changed?
Given Mr Andrews’ support for the then-mayor of Brimbank, Natalie Suleyman, as the ALP candidate for St Albans in the November election, I must ask if Mr Andrews has done a total backflip.
Why is the individual who led the council that gave local government in this state a bad name now acceptable as a member of the Andrews Labor team?
Why is Mr Andrews supporting her candidacy?
If Daniel Andrews is fair dinkum about being Premier of this state, he should immediately sack Natalie Suleyman as his candidate for St Albans and declare the wretched filth and thorough rottenness of the Victorian Labor Party a thing of the past. Anything less shows he is not fit to lead Victoria.
We know Labor neglects Melbourne’s west. The second coming of the Suleyman Empire displays that in abundance.
