A man in his 30s has died after his car crashed into an embankment and then rolled in New Gisborne on Wednesday afternoon.
Victoria Police said the crash happened on the Calder Freeway, 500 metres north of the Kilmore overpass, about 4.40pm.
Police believe the driver, from Sunbury, was travelling south on the freeway when he lost control of his car.
The man, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was ejected from it and died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
