Residents wishing to have a fun and productive morning on the weekend should head to an event hosted by the Horseshoe Bend community group on Saturday, August 2.
Locals will be able to participate in a range of gardening activities including pruning, planting, harvesting, weeding, mulching and mowing.
There will also be an opportunity to create hugelkultur beds, a gardening method which involves stacking wood and other pruning materials into raised beds.
The community group will also be selling tickets for their annual raffle on the day.
Morning tea and tools will be provided.
The working bee event will run from 9am to 1pm at Horseshoe Bend Reserve, 113 Horseshoe Bend Main Drive in Keilor.
