A fire blazed through a single-storey house in St Albans early Saturday morning, July 19, with firefighters extinguishing the flames shortly after arriving on scene.
Firefighters responded to the house fire on Andrew road within six minutes of it being reported by triple-0 callers.
Crews attacked the fire externally, and used an aerial appliance to help knock down the fire.
The scene was deemed under control at 4.10am.
Ambulance Victoria and the power company were also on the scene, and a building surveyor was requested to attend.
