Security guard stabbed in St Albans

A man in his 20s, believed to be working as a security guard, was stabbed outside a St Albans Woolworths on Friday night, June 27.

It is understood the man was stabbed following a confrontation with two males on Main Road East about 6.50pm.

The man was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition and treated for upper body injuries.

The two offenders remain are yet to be found and the investigation is ongoing.
