Market draws a crowd

Crowds flocked to the Sunshine Produce Market on Saturday to enjoy the food, family entertainment and the array of market stalls selling everything from homemade crafts, to pet supplies, jewellery and skin care products.

Brimbank mayor Thuy Dang officially opened the market, which was held on the site of the former Sunshine produce market on McIntyre Road.

Organisers Sahil Gulati, Jessica Clementz and Michael Osczyk said they were excited to bring the “heritage of Sunshine back to life“.

They hope the market will become a regular fixture on the Brimbank calendar.
