A Deer Park house was extensively damaged in a fire early on Tuesday morning.
Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded for a reported house fire shortly at 12.13am after multiple calls were made to triple-0.
FRV crews arrived on scene to find smoke and flames issuing from a single storey brick home.
The fire was declared under control at 12.57am, but not without causing serious damage to then home.
One occupant was able to evacuate the home and was treated by Ambulance for minor burns and smoke inhalation.
A search of the premises by firefighters confirmed no other persons inside the home.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but will be investigated.
CFA, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria also assisted on scene.
