RSPCA Victoria’s Healthy Pet Day is set to land in St Albans later this month, and locals are invited to bring along their furry friends.
The expert animal care team from RSPCA Victoria will provide pet services including general check-ups, dog vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatment, as well as animal behaviour advice for local pets.
RSPCA Victoria community outreach manager Lauren Roberts said the Healthy Pet Days were a great way to provide your furry companions with vital health checks.
“In addition to offering these health checks, we also offer vaccinations and deworming,” she said.
“We want to keep our pets happy and healthy for years to come, and local pet owners will have access to expert advice and the best possible service thanks to our team of vets, vet nurses, and animal behaviourists.”
To access the free Healthy Pet Day services, residents must be 18 years old or over, have a valid concession or health care card holder and have proof of address in the Brimbank local government area.
All cats attending the day must be in a secure carry cage, and dogs must be on a lead. Every animal requires a separate appointment to ensure they receive the care they need and services at this event cannot be provided to breeders or litter rearers.
The Healthy Pet Day will run on Thursday, November 30, from 10am-3pm at the St Albans Community Youth Club.
