The Lions Club of Taylors Lakes is inviting locals to attend the 6th annual Community Festival and Market, promising to deliver another ‘terrific’ day for the community.

The festival is set to take place on Sunday, October 29, from 10am-2pm, for a day filled with more than 60 market stalls, food vans, entertainment, community information and a chance to raise funds for charity and the Lions projects.

All funds raised from the day will go towards the Taylors Lakes Lions Club projects including the development of a community garden for Taylors Lakes, as well as support to the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation which works to help find cures and treatments for childhood cancer.

Held in the beautiful surrounds of the Taylors Creek Linear Park on Chichester Drive in Taylors Lakes, the festival has become a highlighted event on the local calendar.

Lions Club of Taylors Lakes president, Phil Clinkaberry said the group is pleased to bring the local community together for another fun-filled day.

“There’s something for everyone at our community festival – and it’s for two very good causes,” he said.

“Come and join us for a day of fun, food, activities and entertainment. This is great example of how your local Lions Club strengthens community, at the same time raising valuable

funds for very worthwhile causes. We’d love to see you there.”

Stallholders, as well as community groups wishing to hold a display or raise valuable funds are still welcome to make contact.
