Police investigate St Albans burglary

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in St Albans in May.

Police have been told two men broke into a takeaway shop on Kings Road about 3.30am on May 11.

The pair forced their way into the property and damaged a television before stealing cash from the till and locating a safe, police said.

The pair removed the safe from the property and placed it into a single cab Ford Ranger before getting into the Ford and driving off.

The safe contained a substantial amount of cash.

Police have released CCTV images of a vehicle and two men they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
