Police charged a man on Thursday following a non-fatal shooting in Cairnlea earlier this month.
A warrant was executed at a Kealba property on Wednesday evening and a 43-year-old Kealba man was arrested on Thursday.
He was subsequently charged with a range of offences, including intentionally cause serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, reckless conduct endangering life, aggravated burglary with firearm, unlawful possession of firearm, driving without a driving license, failure to exchange details at accident and causing damage to property plus possession of cannabis.
The man has been remanded to appear in court.
The charges follow an incident on April 6 when emergency services were called to an address in Cairnlea following reports a man had received a gunshot wound to the lower body.
A 50-year-old Cairnlea man was conveyed to hospital to be treated for non-life- threatening injuries.
Two other people inside the house at the time, a 42-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, were not physically injured during the incident.
Police believe the parties involved were known to each other.
