A Sunshine West man was found dead at Altona beach on Saturday morning.
It’s believed a group of divers were diving in the water near Bayview Street about 9am when the 61-year-old became separated from the group.
The man was located deceased in the water a short time later.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
