Maintenance works for Taylors Road

Drivers are being warned to prepare for road closures, temporary lane and footpath closures due to works on the corner of Taylors Road and East Esplanade, Keilor Downs.

Vic Roads is completing maintenance works on a retaining wall on the corner, with works expected to take seven weeks to complete.

As part of these works Vic Roads will also be installing new pavement surface on a section of East Esplanade and Taylors Road service roads.

Works started on Monday, February 13 and will take place Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm and some Saturdays for the seven weeks.

As part of the works there will be temporary lane and footpath closures on Taylors Road and East Esplanade with signage and traffic controllers in place.

There will be temporary closure of Taylors Road and East Esplanade service roads and temporary impacts on parking on both service roads.

Non-local traffic wanting to access Taylors Road the service roads will be detoured via Charles and Power streets during the works,

There will also be reduced speeds at times during works, while there is expected to be high levels of noise and dust during the process, with Vic Roads aiming to towards minimising these impacts as much as possible.
