Sunshine is the place to be this summer with the Summer Sundown event hitting the town.
Youth Junction, with support from Brimbank council, is running the events on Friday afternoons throughout February and March.
Summer Sundown events will feature live performances by young people, free ice-cream and giant games for young people aged between 12 and 25.
Youth Junction chief executive Jo Malcolm-Black said there had been a good reaction to the events so far.
“We are really happy to have the opportunity to celebrate summer with our community this year,” she said.
“It is great to see people enjoying the spaces that Brimbank has to offer, including the Visy Cares Hub… Please feel to join us on Fridays for the next few months for some down time and some great music.”
The events are being held between 3.30pm and 5pm outside Visy Cares Hub, Sunshine, every Friday until March 31.
