The team at KND Denture Clinic in St Albans is keeping ahead of progressive new processes in the dental industry, allowing them to better craft their custom dentures.
New equipment simplifies the mould making process and streamlines the replacement of dentures.
A replica of the mouth is created electronically. The team is then able to store scans and mouth mould data digitally for ease of access later, if needed.
One of the director’s of KND Denture Clinic Sam Robertson said seeing the way improving someone’s smile can enhance their life makes this industry so important to him and this latest technology will help with that process.
“Their whole face lights up, they’re so much more confident in themselves and their quality of life improves,” he said.
“They just become a different person.”
The technology at KND isn’t the only new addition. Customers now hear a brand new voice when booking appointments and are welcomed by Maree, the clinic’s new front desk operator.
“We pride ourselves on making people feel comfortable when they come through our doors.We make sure our patients really understand the treatment plan,” Sam explained.

Operating hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday by appointment only.
