A group of Keilor Downs College Year 10 students explored their career options during a recent visit to Brimbank council’s Learning Futures offices.
The six students connected with job advocates and council representatives across a range of fields, including arts and culture, economic development, building and maintenance and IT.
The students have been undertaking intensive work to look into potential career pathways.
The session allowed students to network with people and learn about the different roles on offer, ask questions, listen to stories and start considering the best way to launch their career journeys.
Brimbank council is offering career pathway support services from 80B Harvester Road in Sunshine from 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday, as well as spaces available for hire for meetings, training sessions, social groups or small events.
