Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Sunshine West on Thursday morning.
It’s believed a white Audi sedan was travelling north along Links Road when it collided with a gold Honda sedan travelling east on Glengala Road just before 1am.
Both vehicles then crashed into two parked cars on Links Road.
The driver of the Honda, a 69-year-old Sunshine West man and sole occupant of the car, died at the scene.
Police have been told a number of occupants were inside the Audi at the time of the collision and they were seen running from the scene.
One of the occupants, a 22-year-old Wyndham woman is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
