Police are investigating after a truck driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the rear of a stationary bus on Neale Street in Deer Park this morning.
No passengers were inside the bus at the time of the incident which occured at 7:45am on Tuesday, May 24.
The bus driver was taken to hospital with back injuries while the 40-year-old truck driver was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Brimbank Highway Patrol officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are keen to speak to any witnesses.
