Western United fans in the west were given free haircuts if they had a W engraved on their hair or spray painted it green at a hairdresser in Caroline Springs on Thursday.
The initiative came about ahead of United’s big clash against Melbourne Victory in the second leg of their semi-final on Saturday night.
United lost their first leg game on Tuesday 1-0 and will need to win to get through to the A-League Grand Final.
Their match on Saturday will begin at 5:15pm at AAMI Park.
