The Stallions faced Yarraville and got some luck from an own goal which helped get them over the line in a 2-1 victory playing at Knights Stadium.
North Sunshine Eagles suffered a big defeat to Goulburn Valley Suns losing 5-0 in their match in Shepparton.
St Albans will face Whittlesea Ranges tonight on their home turf at Churchill Reserve, while Keilor Wolves will come up against Whittlesea United at Green Gully Reserve.
