St Albans house fire

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) attended to a house fire in St Albans on Friday night after multiple calls were received by Triple Zero (000).

According to FRV callers said flames were visible and that they could hear banging sounds.

FRV upgraded their response to the fire, arriving at the scene within three minutes to find the house fully involved with fire.

Fire-fighters managed to keep the fire from spreading to neighbouring houses as the fire was declared under control at 11:35 pm, nearly an hour after arriving on the scene.

No occupants were found inside after a thorough search was completed.

The fire has been determined to be suspicious and will be handed over to the Police when it is safe to do so.

Police and Ambulance were also on the scene.
