The Western Ring Road reopened fully on Monday after extensive repair works following a truck fire on Saturday.
Firefighters were called to the fire just after 6.30am on Saturday.
They found a semi-trailer with a mixed load alight, which had created a running oil and grass fire. The fire was brought under control just after 7.30am.
The inbound lanes of the ring road remained closed throughout Saturday, while two lanes were also closed on Sunday as repair work continued.
The fire also resulted in the closure of parts of St Albans Road on Saturday, with debris falling from the ring road onto the road.
After an extensive cleanup and inspection of the bridge, resurfacing works took place on Sunday, and the Ring Road opened with a 60km/h speed restriction in place.
A Department of Transport spokesperson said crews worked through the weekend to ensure the road is safe, and it is now reopened to traffic.
Further works to repair the concrete surface of several barriers is now being planned.
