Former Adelaide United player Yared Abetew has signed with Green Gully for this year’s National Premier League season.

The Cavaliers announced the signing of Abetew on Friday as they continue to unveil their squad.

Abetew played nine games for United during the 2019-20 and 20-21 seasons, having come through United’s NPL side.

The 22-year-old most recently played for Newcastle Olympic.

The club also recently announced the signing of James Doyle, who crosses from NPL side Eastern Lions.

Nick Georgopoulos, Luc Jeggo, Mitch Graham and Caio De Godoy are among the recent re-signing announcements.
