Green Gully has announced its first new signings for this year’s National Premier League season.
After sitting in the bottom half of the competition last season, the Cavaliers are keen to rise back up the ladder.
Former Melbourne Victory player Josh Hope was the first signing for the Cavaliers.
Hope played 27 games for Victory before stepping away from professional football due to online abuse in 2020.
Hope is an attacking midfielder.
New Zealand international Luke Adams is also making the move to the Cavaliers, having played at South Melbourne most recently.
The defender, who was born in Australia, has played five senior games for the Kiwis.
The Cavaliers have also announced the re-signings of Jordan Lampard, Matthew Crooks and Jeremey Walker.
Shaun Timmins, Melvin Becket, Dane Milovanovic, Teeboy Kamara and Anthony Poljak are among the outs from last year’s squad.
The Cavaliers will kick off their season on February 18 against Oakleigh Cannons.
