Thinking of solar or energy storage for your home?

This free online information session will help you find out how you can tackle your energy bills with solar and batteries.

More Brimbank residents than ever are embracing solar, yet for many there are questions surrounding their first purchase of solar or how to upgrade their existing solar system.

The workshop will discuss:

– Energy usage at home

– Solar cost and benefits

– If batteries are right for your home

– Upgrading you existing solar system

– Rebates and subsidies available to help install solar PV and batteries.

This program is brought to you by Brimbank council and community solar specialist More Australian Solar Homes, a program of the Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance, a not-for-profit organisation that has worked with several councils to help encourage the uptake of renewable energy.

Brimbank Mayor Jasmine Nguyen said going solar you can cut your electricity bills and global warming emissions.

“Brimbank council declared a climate emergency in June 2020 and achieving ambitious cuts in our carbon emissions will require a big effort from council and our community.

“This is a great opportunity for Brimbank residents and businesses to be part of Brimbank’s bold response to climate change.
